Food Impressions: Demokritos serves only traditional, Greek cuisine. You will find well-cooked fried and baked dishes reminiscent of grandma's homemade Sunday lunch, such as the lemon rabbit and the roast casserole with noodles. Do not forget to try the sikotaria (liver and entrails) with oil and oregano, the beef, araka (peas) and spanakorizo (spinach with rice). Provided you still have room for dessert, try the baked apple or quince (kydoni), or both! To compliment the high quality food, the wine cellar is well stocked and the red house wine is excellent.
