Fried Mushrooms

Delicious, crispy and juicy these fried mushrooms are the perfect vegan finger-food appetizer.

Ingredients:

  • ½ kg mushrooms
  • 1 tbs fresh butter
  • 1 tbs olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves (optional),finely chopped
  • ½ bunch parsley

Procedure:

Wipe the mushrooms one by one with a damp cloth or paper towel and cut them or leave them whole.

Heat the butter with the oil in the pan.

Throw the mushrooms in the frying pan and let them cook in high heat, with the cover of the frying pan off for 3-4’ until they start to brown.

Add the garlic, lower the heat, stir, put on the cover of the frying pan and let them cook for 5-8’ until they absorb their fluids.

Finally sprinkle with the finely chopped parsley.

Tips

You should never wash mushrooms with water, because they absorb a lot and when cooked become soggy.
