Dried figs and walnuts wrapped in vine leafs-Sikomayades
Serve these Greek delicacies with yogurt then pour the syrup on top or just sprinkle poppy seeds.
- 250 gr dried figs
- 250 gr walnuts chopped
- 1 bottle sweet red wine
- vine leafs warmed
Preheat oven at 200° C.
Cut the figs in thick pieces and knead them with the walnuts.
Create small spheres and roll them in the vine leafs.
Place them in a pan and pour the wine on top.
Bake in the oven at a high temperature until the wine becomes syrupy.
