Marinated Dried Fruit
These sweet and tasty marinated fruits are wonderful when served with Greek yogurt or ice cream.
- 50 g of fresh butter
- 30 g brown sugar
- 2 sticks of cinnamon
- 3 cloves
- 2 tbsp pine nuts
- 150 g of dried apricots (whole)
- 150 g of dried prunes (whole)
- 150 g of dark raisins
- 60 g of tsipouro
Melt the butter in a pan and add the cinnamon, the cloves, the dried fruit and the brown sugar.
Stir continually until the sugar has melted and the fruit begins to caramelize.
Add the tsipouro, the pine nuts and stir for a further minute.
Remove from heat and serve.
