- Wash the anchovies. Pinch the head between your thumb and index finger and remove. Remove the backbone from the small feathery fins lining it.
- Cut the lemon thinly into half slices
- Cut dry sandwich bread into cubes
Preheat the oven to 180°C
1. Soak the sandwich bread in the milk.
2. Add beaten eggs seasoned with salt and pepper.
3. Grease a baking pan with oil then pour alittle of the mixture. Arrange in layers: interchanging the fish with the bread mixture. Interspersing each layer with parmesan cheese and bread crumbs.
4. Bake the preparation for 30 minutes.
5. Garnish with sliced lemon and oregano before serving.
