- Finely chop onion
- Finely slice garlic
- Cut carrot into rounds
- Pick and wash the lentils.
1. Heat oil on low temperature and sauté onions, garlic and lentils.
2. Add carrots, bay leaves, water, vinegar and spices.
3. Season to taste and simmer for about 1 hour, until lentils are soft and the soup has thickened. Serve hot.
