Hodja Broad Beans

Ingredients

1 kg broad beans
1 onion minced
1 Tbs tomato paste
dried oregano
oil
salt

Procedure

1. Clean the broad beans by removing the black part. Soak the broad beans in water together with the minced onion, cover and cook over a medium heat until a puree is formed. Don’t use too much water in the beginning, as they cook better with less and you can always add more if necessary.

2.  When they are almost ready, add the tomato paste, a little oil and the oregano.
