Red Marinade (for meat)

1 bottle of red wine
1 glass of brandy
1 onion chopped
1 carrot sliced
some parsley
black and aromatic peppercorns
1 tsp of paprika (sweet red pepper)
a pinch of hot, red chili pepper


1.  Combine all the ingredients to make a marinade.

2. Place the meat in the marinade and keep in the fridge for 4-24 hours.

3.  The marinade can be reduced to make a sauce or can be used for basting.
