Preheat oven at 180°C.
In a pot put the milk, the semolina, the sugar, the butter, the vanilla and the eggs (after they have been beaten very well).
Place the pot on a low temperature and continually stir the mixture until the custard thickens and making sure it does not stick to the bottom of the pot.
Butter the baking pan and lay the phyllo so that the sides of the pan are covered as well, butter the phyllo and pour the custard in the pan on top of the phyllo.
Then turn the phyllo from the side of the pan on the custard to make a crust.
Bake in a medium temperature oven until it makes a golden crust.
While it is warm sprinkle some sugar and cinnamon.
