A New Yorker, born and bred, Sandi left Madison Avenue and the world of advertising for sunny Malibu, and then, at the urging of her longtime companion Cliff, for Hong Kong. It didn't take long for her to become a popular food, wine and travel writer turning out weekly and monthly columns for the South China Morning Post, Epicure, Wine and Dine, B International and many other publications, as well as writing two thick tomes on wine, two on food and one on the best chefs in the world. Vice President of 'Women in Publishing', Sandi continues to do what she loves best; travel to both exotic and familiar locales, visit with friends and relatives, experience the diverse cuisine wherever she goes and drink the wine. She fell in love with Greece in her early twenties and has been to Crete, Rhodes, Santorini, Spetses, Aegina, Ios, Patmos, Hydra, Mykonos, and most recently, the Sporades and Porto Heli in the Peloponnese. She makes a mean moussaka which she and Cliff like to wash down with a bottle of retsina.
