Dimitris Tsoumplekas is a visual artist. He was born in Athens in 1967, and ever since he has been eating to grow, and cooking to eat. When he doesn’t cook, he enjoys photography and filming.
He has had a solo exhibition at Illeana Tounda Contemporary Art Center in Athens, and his work has been included in group exhibitions in Berlin, Paris, Rome, New York and Havana.
He has worked with Tachydromos, Madame Figaro, Harpers Bazaar, KLIK, and Playboy magazines, and has written a gastronomy column for FREE Magazine.
He is currently living in Berlin with his wife and daughter, and their two hedgehogs.
